problem downloading from xbox marketplace.

When i ever i try to download from xbox marketplace, the download just stays at 1%.

I just got a new modem/router. (netgear)

Any ideas what to do?

Any help would be appreciated.

My first reaction would be to turn off your router's firewall, which might be blocking some communications on Xbox Live ports. I have no idea what ports they are specifically, though.

I could download from marketplace with my zoom modem/router... but i can't with my new netgear modem/router.

My zoom modem/router just broke so i had to get a new one. ( netgear) ... but now i can't download with this netgear one.

There was probably a port open on the other router that let the Xbox junk work.

I'd really suggest getting a hold of Microsoft about it. Or let your mommy call.
