Problem...Grrrrr

When I first purchase Half-Life 2 in October, Counter-Strike ran fine on all high settings 2x AA and 2xAF and a resolution of 1024x768 and I got 50-60FPS with an averaga of a 50-60 ping on a 1.5mb DSL connection. Now I still get about a 50-60 FPS and still a 50-60 ping, but the game lags like crazy. Ill be kneeling and wont be able to stand up again, then when I do finally stand up ill be in some other room. Or, Ill be walking and everything will be in some slow mode, and then my ass will get shot because of that. What can be causing this problem? I think this problem also started after the last update also(the one that added the prodigy map) or after I installed the ATI 4.12 Drivers. Any help or ideas well the appreciated!!!

try doing a driver clean and roll bak to the 4.11's, just to see if it is ur drivers if this is not the case then try reinstalling the game
