Problem: IDirect3DDevice9::Present()

PROBLEM :

Random crashing in GMod, Episode 1 but not Episode 2 (that I can tell) with errors such as:

Internal Driver Error in IDirect3DDevice9::present()
CmeshDX8:LockvertexBuffer


SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS



OPERATING SYSTEM : Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1 Build 2600)
PROCESSOR : AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3700+ ~2.2 GHz
MEMORY : 1024MB RAM
VIRTUAL MEMORY: 525MB Used 1936MB Available
DIRECTX VERSION : DirectX 9.0c
GRAPHIC CARD : Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT
GRAPHIC CARD MEMORY : 256 MB
DRIVERS : English 6.14.00 Date:12/5/07 (Latest On Website)
RESOLUTION : 1280 x 960 32bit 60Hz

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

I have Done all the follow Steps to Fix This:
Updated Video Card Drivers
Updated DirectX
Switched to Direct 8.0 (Under Launch Options For Game)
Switched to Window Mode
Set all the quality to low (even though High was recommended for all)
Reinstalled.

My rig is working properly for everything else under the sun. Please help.

Things I have Tried: (But didn't mention before)

Turning Off AVG Live Center AND StyleXP (also conflicts apparently) And every other ****ing program not in my windows folder.

Running in Windowed Mode (With DirectX 80)

Doing Everything they suggested with water reflections ect.. ( I already found that page)
