Problem updating steam

I start the game and it says 'Updating Steam' and a loading bar appears in a green window. When it reaches 27% it exits and I get an error message saying thet Steam.exe cannot be deleted.

Please if you read this don't just skip past it, help me.

:sniper: Noone seems to be able to answer this question Ive the same prob, deleted blob or whatever its called still doesn't work just updates then dissapears.

Great Steem your certainly giving me steam for sure :flame:

If i get an answer i will post as there are loads of people in the forums with this problem unresolved.
