problem with asus 6800 v9999 GE

Hi all , when i install any of the nvidia drivers and then try to play halflife 2 or cs source i cant see any models or weapons and some of the graphics are missing

But when i install the drivers that came on cd with the graphics card it works fine ! :hmph:

My specs are amd athlon 64 3000

1gig ram

asus 256mb geforce 6800 v9999 gamer edition

windows xp home

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Don't Asus use there own drives instead of the standard Ati/nVidia. Probably wrong but I'm sure I have heard of this before.

On the cd that came with the card there was the asus drivers and also nvidia drivers so you could choose what you want to install..

Ive had this working previously on my old motherboard and cpu with the nvidia drivers but it dont wanna work on my new setup
