Problem With brand NEW monitor

I just recieved my 1 ton package from newegg.com (yes a 19" viewsonic monitor) I love everything about it (so far)!

But one problem ive been annoyed about !
I have two thin black lines ingraved in the monitor going horizontally and it is really annoying and is there any update or fix to this problem ? Or is it just part of how its made ?

thats the price to pay for having a trinitron/diamondtron tube. they will not go away because they are there to stabilize the picture. light colors will make them more obvious, so just use a dark color scheme in windows. and.. you'll get used to it and it wont bother you after a while(for most people this is the case)

My Fe991sb also has the two lines. The high end monitors with the trinitron tubes have them.

I got used to it though.

not all CRT's. only ones with a *tron CRT tube(that ive seen so far)

It's just a side effect of Aperture Grille monitors. You get used to it really quick. Even with a light background I don't notice them now.

Where are the lines? Near the top and bottom?
