Problem with getting Audio

i just bought a new computer with a chaintech VNF4/Ultar motherboard. Everything is running fine besides the audio. When I plug the speaker plug into Line Out outlet it makes a short noise then goes quiet. I believe everything is plugged in right. Any suggestions.

did u forget to install drivers or mabye its shut off in the bios check that

How would I Turn on my BIOS.

restart ur comp. and when u c the motherboard name which should be the first thing that pops up press f2 it could be different for urs

When I press F2 should it go to a different screen or should it turn on automatically?

it should go directly to ur bios after u press f2 and u would c like a blue background with wierd font but mabye ur motherboard dosent do f2 it will tell which button to press at the bottom for like 3 sec when the motherboard logo pops up(the first screen when starting ur computer)

Usually it's delete.

its prob. different for every mobo but like i said it will tell on the the first page u c when u boot the computer
