i have a problem with HL2:mp (death match) it wont let me download it even though i allready have paid for it, saying: steam servers are currently too busy to handle ur request. is there anywhere i can download it from?:cheese:

just wait and try again, it happens on steam every now and then.

It is a problem with STEAM, to download it from anywhere else would be ILLEGAL even if you did purchase it off of STEAM. Reboot STEAM (log off and back on) and see if the file download starts, if this fails reboot your computer and try again.

If this doesn't work - it is not a bug but the fact that the STEAM servers are genuinely busy

Try use ATi Steam Offer or NVIDIA Steam Offer, and Strange i never had that error on HL2:DM
Or try later

Yeah once my friend too I had this same issue and suggested him to wait and try later. And he did the same and it took 3 to 4 hours to get solved. Hope the same case with you, so wait and try later....

No, its not illegal. Even if you don't own the game, its a civil matter, not a criminal one. And if you do own the game, there is no chance of a successful law suit against you if you did download it elsewhere.

Don't get me wrong, I'm anti-pirate (Search my old posts if you don't believe me), but I'm more anti-"all-the-bullshit-that-the-mpaa-and-riaa-spread". Remeber kids, copywrite theft is not a crime. Copywrite theft is not even a thing...
