Problem with my DVD-RW

Hi guys,

I have a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-108 and I burns DVD-R just fine, but I just bought a bunch of rewritable DVDs (DVD+RW), and my drive cannot recoginize them.

I something wrong with my drive, or is it that it cannot recoginze rewritables DVDs (which would cause me to return it).
