Problem with my hl2! Help!

Whenever i start a new game and start playing the game runs great. However, whenever i load a saved game and play through the levels none of the other characters are moving. Enemies and friends alike are just frozen and not moving. Could someone pls tell me whats up. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

are the words "ai disable" on the screen?

im not accusing you of anything before i get yelled at... but isnt that a commen copy with pirated copies?. if yours is pirated, thats probably why, if not u prob have AI dissabled
