I am having a problem with my linksys g wireless card on my laptop. It works just fine when i start the computer up with the card inserted, but if i dont and stick it in afterward, or take the card out after start up and put it back in it will no longer detect wireless networks.

This is really frustrating me, any help would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

does teh card actually start up when you insert it after teh pc is loaded up, because I have a pcmcia 10/100 lan card and it needs to be inserted before teh pc is turned on for it to work.

it shows that the card is inserted and all, it just shows no wireless networks in range.

I don't do it on purpose, just when I type fast, it is sometimes comes out as teh instead of the :D

You could give the latest drivers a try. They will be on the manufacturers site. Its strange how the card will be detected and show no errors, but it won't pick up any wireless networks. The only think I could suggest is the latest drivers.
