hey guys,
my brother is currently trying to reformat his computer, and hes having a bit of trouble. The computer is set to boot from cd, and his USB keyboard support is enabled, however, only at random with the hitting the keyboard work to boot from cd. When is does boot from cd, the set up begins and and it starts to download all the files before he would have to choose which partition he wants to reformat. However, shortly into the download, a error message pops up saying that windows is going to restart in order to make sure nothing on his computer is damaged.
He is using 2 hard drives, dont know if that makes a difference.

any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

Also, bolded sentences are the ones in which I'm all 'What on earth are you talking about'.

What was the original reason why system had to be reformatted?

1) I would diagnose memory modules to see if they're the instability source.

2) I would try to back-off of the CPU and set it back to factory frequency; if OC-ed.

3) Diagnose both HD for errors (You can do this by using another system)

Good Luck.

FYI: Its bold not bolded.

Your demeaning behaviour is totally uncalled for.

That would be as in "having your head shaved" :p

I agree though, it was harsh, especially considering that bar an odd missed capital, his grammar is fine. Ok, the bold bit dosen't make sense, but thats not a grammar issue, thats probably a "typed something, then changed it" issue.
