Problem.

After I play Half Life 2 for a little while, my computer screen goes black, the sound starts skipping, and then it says " Monitor going to sleep".

At first I thought it may have something to do with my video driver, but After I updated my driver, it did the same thing.

So, any ideas on what could be casuing this to happen?

Something similar happens to me. Once I choose the first level the man begins talking and after less than a minute my sound skips then the screen goes black and if I don't close it immediately I end up with the BSOD. My drivers are updated and everything. Is it because of vista? I'm running it in comp. mode for xp
