I can get to main menu no problem and can change options etc. If i go to new game, pick chapter one, hit start new game it goes back to the main menu and stay there. Havent seen anyone having this problem. Cs source works no problem as it has done since july or august or whenever i dl it with voucher. If Anyone could help it would be so great 
I have tried renaming and re dl the file erik form valve sugests to fix the other problem. I have updated graphics card drivers. I am now going to delete all the game content and re dl the whole game. I doubt this will help though.
