Problems with ATI drivers under Vista...

Hi, i'm having problems installing the 7.5 drivers on my PC which is running Vista home premium. The Drivers themself won't install and it reverts my card to PCI only with no hardware acceleration. I can't play any games at all on my pc and i have no clue what can be causing this to happen. In device manager windows is reporting it as not working. My card is an X800 pro running on a DFI lanparty UT ultra-D mobo.

Did you remove your drivers before installing the new ones? Usually that fixes any problems an overwrite-install might cause.

Just wondering, did you have issues with the previous driver?

I had no drivers installed before the 7.5. I'd only just put Vista on my PC. Would system restore remove them completely or? It worked fine with no ATI drivers, but now it can't even run some of the windows games!

Im at work at the moment as well so i can't physically do anything yet till i'm home, and i haven't got internet at home i can't try and test other drivers. In quite a situation lol.
