Problems with CSS/Steam after Febuarys latest update

After getting the latest update with CS_compound etc.. all the servers in favorites have disapeared and now after I add a server to Favorites it vanishes if I exit and restart CSS? Also I'm now getting duplicate server entries in the browser(sometimes the same server is listed up to 15 times). I've uninstalled everything and started from scratch but it still happens. Quite a few people I've spoke to are having the same problem. If any one can solve this your a god destined to go down in the history books of CSS.

Yeah i get the same problem, i think the reason we get repeats of the same servers are because when I go ingame, I add the IP to favorites everytime i load it up (as they disapear), but the IPs you add stay in the server list(out of game), so you end up with loads of the same server.

Its something to do with the update.

I've got a part answer from steampowered...

'NOTE: this will delete all servers in your favorites and in your history!

Exit from Steam first, then go delete:

C:\Program Files\Steam\config\serverbrowser.vdf
or
C:\Valve\Steam\config\serverbrowser.vdf

(or wherever you have Steam installed).

Steam will re-create those files for you the next time you run.

NOTE:
Steam will only save Server Favorites and History at the Steam ServerBrowser, not from within the game serverbrowser.

IE:
If you are connecting to Servers from within the game ServerBrowser, it will not save the Servers to your favorites. If you connect to Servers from the main Steam Serverbrowser then they will save properly.'

The problem with this is that if you want to join a different server you have to exit CSS and join another via steam browser, I think youll agree this sucks when you think that before youu could go from server to server in game. Also no luck so far on getting rid of duplicate entries in browser(which also appear in Steam's browser as well as the in game one).

The spectators menu doesn't work. Only the first, options field, is there, the other two (the names, camera options) doesn't work.

Allright, I did what Twilight Seibei suggested, and all it did was delete the favourites from the steam serverbrowser, when I add a server in the game favourites serverbrowser it doesnt save it when i exit

SELAS you can only save and access favorite servers via the steam not in game. Thats why I was saying it sucks.
