Anyway I did the search thing for my problem and I couldn't find a thread with anyone having something to similar to mine. So sorry if this was asked before.
I'm pretty sure I was 100% fully verified for offline mode, but this morning when I turned on my computer, Steam did not start up automatically like it did the night before. Now I turned off my internet connection, etc. Steam pops up with Connection Error: could not connect to Steam network. So I hit the button "Start in Offline mode".
Well then it says "Could not connect to steam network, this could be due to to a problem with your internet connection, yadda yadda."
WELL I WANT OFFLINE MODE GODDAMMIT.
Anyway, I go to a boarding school and currently they have a firewall up so that the steam cannot access the servers so I can retry the whatever again.
I've also uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it, but it still does the same.
Anybody know how to fix this problem?
