Problems with water

I went step by step on a tutorial and though i had gottn the water right but when i loaded the map you cant see the water from the top but when u get in it you can look up and see it could someone tell me what ive done wrong?

Do you have a leak? Did you run VIS? The water is a world brush, not an entity, right?
