Problems with XSI

I would like to start modeling, but I have a bit of a dillema. I just installed XSI Mod Tool 4.2, and it doesn't work. Whenever I run the program, the splash screen shows, but nothing happens. I look at my task manager and it shows no application, even though the splash screen is quite visible. It does, however, show the process XSI.exe.

Does anyone know how to fix my problem?

try going to display propeties>settings>advanced >troubleshoot? and turning down your hardware excelleration.

It didn't work, but thanks for trying to help. I have an ATI Randeon X1650 Pro; does anyone know if there have been other problems with this kind of graphics card and XSI mod tool?

Youd have better luck on the softimage forums. or call technical service.
