Problum Saving two games

Hi guys. Im posting this up in the hopes i can find some help with my problum. Ya see I got half life 2 and havent been able to play it because My brother has been playing it. I would like to creat a seprate save file out side of his so ya know it doesnt auto save over his last thing should i get farther than him. I would consult my book but i can no longer find it. Any and al help would be greatly appretiated. thanks guys.

You cant really do this. The only way you could is to cut your save files out of the save folder and move them somewhere, then put them back (backing up your brothers saves) next time you play.
The way it works is 1 steam account is just for you, if your brother wants seperate saves he'd have to buy his own hl2 and another steam account. They aren't designed to be shared.
