im getting a new computer soon and im hearing all this !@#$ on "AMD 64" or something... whats THE BEST PROCESSOR out thare (i dont care the price) will this AMD thing run my games EVREYTHING from doom95 to HL2?

Disclaimer: Prices for 3400+ and 3200+ are for 512KB L2 cache models with 200MHz increase in speed (Which will perform equal or better) than their counterparts with 1MB L2 cache, yet the benchmarks are for the 1MB L2 cache versions.

And I'll back up their claims. Yes, the fx-53 is very sexy. Don't be like some idiots who just wait and wait for newer and newer tech. Get the gold now if you have the cash. This thing will last you quite a while. I still haven't found a game that can push this processor to its limits, including doom 3.
