Hello, there is a huge problem. A year ago when I got half life 2 I had my old PC with old eamil adress and now I have a new PC and new eamil adress and I created a new steam account and here is the problem after I installed half life 2 and entered the CD Key it says that it belongs to another user so I tried again and now it says that "steam servers are currently unable to process the transaction and one the same messege it says "we will notify you as soon as transaction is complete" Its been 2 days now with the same messege. Please help

Well, here's the problem: You can't have two Steam accounts with the same CD-key. When you enter it in one account, it's bound for life. (Well, you can ask Valve to change it, but that'll cost money.)

But you'll just have to remember your old e-mail address and your password. And for remembering your Steam account, just click on the 'Retrieve a lost account' button under the login data. Then you have two options. 'I don't know my account name' or 'I know my account name'. If you don't, select that one, and then take the 'I remember the CD key I used' option. Then put it in. It'll then send an e-mail to the e-mail account that Steam account is bound to. If you selected 'I know my account name', just put it in, and it will aslo send an e-mail to the e-mail account that Steam account is bound to.

That's the only way without spending money (Unless you still have your game receipt, you have to send it to Valve and they will change the CD-key to another Steam account charge-free.)

I didn't say that. That's a complete last measure and paying 10$ will only be necessary if you don't have any evidence that you bought the game.

Calm down.

What you have to do is this:
Remember your old e-mail account and password.
Then, follow these steps if you forgot your Steam account/password (your old one):

Just click on the 'Retrieve a lost account' button under the login data.

Well, you could try and ask friends if they still have your old e-mail account name in their contact list ;)
