Since the old Project Zelda Online Forums have gone down I have made my own Project zelda online forums. Since they have not been made official by Jahrain they are sorta like fan forums.

A zelda mod... for Halo?
o.O

Why? Why not HL, HL2, Q3, Q4, U3 or something decent?

who knows...well it would be to late to switch now because they have already made Z-targeting, acrobatics (backflips, side steps), all the weapons, about 8 maps and the player model/horse

Why not make up your own unique idea for a mod? And let people play good Zelda games rather than a half-assed mod on a crappy engine?

The fact you mis-spelled horse gives me no hopes at all for you. Not the mod. YOU!

um I was in a rush thats why I spelled horse wrong and I'm not making the mod Jahrain is.

PS: this mod is realy well done

The video for the mod makes me want to throw up all over Halo.

Seriously, this sort of thing pisses me off.

Give the guy a break. What's wrong with fans of the game trying to make a mod?

That depends on how many people they want to play the mod. Halo mod players are a minority of a minority of a minority. Zelda loving halo mod players are another step along that chain. (PC Halo Players > PC Halo CE Players > People who play mods > people who would play a Zelda mod). They may have made a decent mod, but what's the point when no-one is going to play it?

Well the halo moddign comunity is pretty big if you look around cough:GearboxForums:Cough

well it isn't realy a mod but a set of maps.

once you load the map all the modded stuff(3rd person, z targeting) activates.

it's not like a half-life mod where you install it

I used to be frequent halomods.com, back before I knew jack shit about PC gaming... I can honestly say that the "mod scene" is rather "lacking".

Lmfao when the horse tips over.

Kind of impressive how they've got all the textures and shit, but the video felt so shitty (not only the actual game but the production... Some nerdy sounding kid that I could hardly understand, with this annoying amp-sounding buzz in the background... Wtf.

I say incredibly pointless. Good on them for their effort, but a horrible decision.

www.halomods.com

there's a huge comunity
Their forums have 8 active users at this moment. Similarly, Gearbox Software's forums are populated by a little over 100 users, for discussion on about 20 different topics including Halo CE. True, i'm speaking from the UK perspective here, but Halflife2.net alone currently has 385 users active. Yes we're not all dedicated to the mod forum, but that's an irrelevence because unlike Gearbox's forums which is a loose association of fans of Gearbox's varied catalogue, halflife2.net can be described as a "Half-Life 2 community". There are probably 5 of these in total of similar health. Add then the ammount of people who're actually playing the games and you can see how microscopic the Halo CE community is.

B for effort...

But god damn, after seeing the horse tipping... it just killed the video for me.

Well that was the extremily glitchy Pre Alpha that Jahrain put up for download in 05.

I'm trying to find the forest temple vid, it is almost exactly like ocarina of time.
