i fixed the LONG ASS compileing time... fast / off but i have 2 new problems... my prop_details are eorrors in the game and the skybox is makeing my map too bright >.< i want it to be night not morning :thumbs:
 
Very few models can actually be used with prop_detail; they're not allowed to have any clipping data or lightdata associated with them. Most models prefer prop_static and prop_physics.

Go to Map --> Map Properties and you can change the sky that'll be displayed (if that's the problem). You can find skies in the texture browser, inside the skybox/ folder; the name of the sky is the name of an image minus the last two letters, so havup would be part of the sky called hav.

[edit: oh, wait a minute, you fixed the compile time by a method called fast off. I hope that doesn't mean you set VIS to fast and RAD to off, because fast VIS is probably worthless, making a laggy map, and no RAD will make your map bright, because RAD is the lighting program!]
