I added prop_physics entity to my map and chose models/props_lab/filecabinet02.mdl for the model (by clicking the .jpg file) It seems ok in editor but its invisible in game. How's that fixed? Im newbie in HL2 mapping so thats why so much new questions&topics...

It's to do with fadepoints... Somewhere there's a value of 1-5 or something, in the prop_physics, change that to -1.

What's happening now is that it fades away.

Also, although I can't be specific, models have settings and parameters in there definitions that limit there use. Not all models will work with all entities, and some work when you think they wouldn't and vice versa. The compile log has complained when I attempted to use a model that wasn't appropriate, so be conscious of that. The result was the model did not show up in game.

Of course I'm not sure if you mean it is truly invisbile, which means you can pick it up or hit it, or if it just isn't there.

There are entities with OVERRIDE in there name. From other posts here and elsewhere it sounds like it can be used to make a model meant for something else be used elsewhere.
