Well, not exactly like that, it was just a documentary style video of what happened to the kid who got his mouth torn off by North Korean soldiers after he cried "I hate Communism!".

This video is scaring me, because of the islamic extremism telling people that everything America-related is evil (PEPSI, lol), but also because of "Rediculous, right? But they have no reason to doubt it, and they take it in as absolute facts."

Hmm, I knew they had school books where you had to complete sentences like "The Zionist enemy sent his xxxxxx to bomb us.", X being the word the children have to find in a box of words below. I also knew they had those cosy sermons in the mosque where they all yell "Al mout li amrika!" or "Marg bar izrail!" if it's in Iran. Didn't know they sung songs like "Oh Jew, your blood is Halal to us.", though. Yeesh.
 
After watching that, I feel grateful that I was born in this greater free country.

It doesnt mean that everything therein is a lie, just that the content and contextualisation must be regarded with suspicion as it is being used for the purposes of propaganda.
 
That just puts about 70% of what I see on TV as propaganda.
 
@Joe - My thought more or less. If something is propaganda because it changes the way we feel or think, well...

Media changes perspectives, etc. Does that mean that all media is in the same booth as BBC? I think that's a bit illogical.

Well, a lot of the commercials are propaganda, since they appeal to the nationalistic side of our society ("SK Telecom sponsers the Taeguek Warriors!"), the programs are propaganda in the way that they "expose" hidden things in goverment or the crazy US military or the North Korean spies, ect.
 
bleh, these things should be aired on TV more to indeed expose these idiots, but hey, i guess the media is so biased right wing. lol
I've seen this stuff before, but not on TV where it should be to show ppl how the hatred is fueled, but on the internet after searching for it.
I'm not shocked at all by it, since i've seen far worse, 3-year olds having been tought some intensive vocabulary on Jew-hatred with the reporter sitting next to her asking her questions complimenting her on her young hatred and how its being tought and it should be an example for all.

Lets hope this gets exposed even more, and muslims themselves stand up and fight against it, since its their responsibility, just as it was/is ours to fight our own extremists.
There's a nice saying in Dutch "wie zwijgt stemt toe" which means "who's silent agree's".
Muslims are the ones who should be pissed when seeing this crap, and should be out there protesting against this, and fighting against it.
Thats the ONLY way to beat this, not by non-muslims lobbing bombs, or occupying countries, but by muslims themselves.
ah well, we'll see where this goes, i just hope the world doesnt polarize even more.
 
I keep having this thought - I saw this video of a little girl, maybe seven or eight-years-old, she was in a rally. The little girl told the reporter that she wanted to, when speaking about Ariel Sharon - "And I want to go Ariel Sharon and kill him with a gun and stab him with a sword because of the poor Palestinians!", now here's the thing... SHE CAN'T HANDLE EITHER ONE!

No-one disputes that this is bad, so you're kind-of whipping a dead horse.

The actual debate comes from the fact that Israel isn't great either.

That basic thing - that neither side is correct or even "not evil" - is something you won't get from a scary google video with selective audio clips and spooky music.

But that kind of footage isn't news to me.
And we've been hearing the Iranian president's comments on Israel ever since the US decided to clamp down on the nuclear programme.
And that anti-Israel cartoon was posted on here last year sometime.
