Proper Hammer setup?

Hi guys, searched the forums a little but all I could find on the subject was how to do the VALVe way of setting it up.

However, I'm sure someone had a way to set the options so you don't have to copy and paste the maps about, or run the game sepratly. All you had to do was press run....

Anyone remember?
