props on the roof of house not apearing

I have a hyouse with a slanted roof - its not that steep... but I have 4 prop_static entities that I have placed there as decoration in the map - these props are not apprearing! They aren't placed anywhere in the map? Anyone have an idea of why they do not show up?

Also I have placed a weapon on the roof - and that appears on the floor of the house!

I'm not sure what I should do.. can I not put props on a slant? Does it have something to do with my roof being a brush?

I can send you the vmf if it would help! I'd really like to fix this up!

For the props, you might be using the wrong type of prop. Try a prop_dynamic.

For the weapon, uhhh. Is the roof an entity? Is the weapon inside the roof or slightly above it?

I tried changing the prop type to dynamic like you suggested - but again 0 they did not appear! The weapon is clearly above the roof...

Maybe I could send you the VMF file so you could have a look? I'm stumped.
