Just a quick question. Do you need to pay monthly for online access with a PS2? I know you ahve X-Box Live! and that costs monthly...but I've heard nothing with the PS2.

You need an ethernet adapter for PS2
Router -> Adapter - > PS2 = PS2 on the internet

By the way, the reason its free and xbox charge is PS2 works like most PC games, they have their own built in server browsers and crap, so each individual game does the job of finding servers and so on.
The xbox is like gamespy, there is a central connection, through which all online games work through. That why you pay for xbox, because of these servers.
