"Mr. President! Intelligence has detected several missile silos preparing for launch in Russia!"
"All communication has been disconnected from the Middle East and China."
"Sir, we've just received word... a nuclear weapon has been detonated in London."
A screen in the wall turns on, a picture of a man in a military uniform appears on the screen.
"General Collins reporting from Dallas, sir, there're riots in the streets... fires... widespread looting.
There's not much we can do except with deadly force."
The background on the screen erupts into flames before dissolving into static.
"We've lost contact with Dallas, similar reports coming in from across the country."
Psionic Advent is a fast-paced, in-depth, action-strategy game based in post-apocalyptic earth. In the year 2019 nuclear war broke out, creating massive nuclear winter, in the aftermath a few survivors who, due to a rare gene, developed an immunity to the ravages of the radiation and also began to show odd abilities. Nearly every survivor developed some psionic ability. As societies began to reform inevitably strife began to develop again. Most villages possessed an extreme distrust of outsiders, and rivalry between clans caused widespread violence. With no law enforcement to worry about criminals were free to loot, rape and kill virtually without consequence. Psionic Advent places the player in the midst of the clan wars, you can choose from a list of characters, each representing a different group. Actual weaponry will be limited to a few pistols, as the focus of gameplay will be on melee and combat with the psionic abilities.
