Anyone out there who works in retail know how Sony is doing now with the dead pixels? Are you guys still seeing a lot of returns? I really would like to pick one up, but I'm not going through what I went through before.....ie. 6-7 dead/stuck pixels only to exchange it for one with 4 or 5. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

With LCD monitors you can get a new one if it has 3 or more dead pixles.

And mean I remember having read something about a programm that flashes dead pixles in psp, makeing them work again.

That's all I could help.

Edit: I forgot to mention google...

I have about 2 dead pixels, honestly I can never tell when playing until I come to a pitch black loading screen, this is where I can see them as very small white dots. Honestly I don't care. But some people are more picky I supose.

I really haven't bothered looking for any and I don't see any dots or the like, so I guess I'm in the clear. Also, that thing Fonaki is talking about is only for "stuck" pixels not dead pixels.

My first one had 2 really bright ones in the middle of the screen, my second one has a really dull one on the right side of the screen. Doesn't bother me at all.

I havn't bought one, and wont until they are $20.
