how long, barring that it dies, will my 550watt psu last. i mean, with the power requirments riseing an whatnot, and also; i have a 14 pin power connecter, and am using a 20 pin converter so that it attaches to my mobo, whn will i need that 14 pin connecter/

550 watts will last you a long time if it is a good brand... why wouldn't it... Does it matter when you will need the 14 pin connector, because you already have it? :|
