psu recommendation?

Hi, I need a new power supply. I have 1 gb of ram, an amd 64 chip, 4 hdds, 2 cd rom drives, and 3 pci cards. I have a 9800 pro, but i'm looking to upgrade that eventually. I'm thinking I need more than 500 watts. What do you guys think? What should i look for in a good psu?

I got an Antec Truepower 2 back in August the thing runs great. I highly suggest this Power Supply.

It runs my 7800GTX, Amd Athlon 3500+, 3 HD's, 2 Cd rom drives, my 4 case fans all flawless. Mine has worked perfect I havn't had one problem with it.
