Few questions. Dunno if you guys have the answers, but what the hey.

1. Has it been confirmed whether or not this will have achievements (only way M$ will make XBOX game downloads a success imo)?

2. Has it been modified in any way to run on the superior architechture (texture upgrades, higher res, etc)?

3. Any of you gonna be buying it?

I think this is what he is talking about.

I kinda doubt they will update it to take advantage of the hardware though. I will probably buy it, I have been wanting to play it but I rented it instead of buying it.

I read on Kotaku or somewhere a few days ago that they'd be straight ports of the original games - running on software emulation and all (which isn't perfect, as you'll know if you've tried to run any Xbox original games on 360). Aaand no achievements either. Microsoft say this is in order to "maintain the original experience" or some shite.

So yeah. Just buy the CD version, it's gonna be exactly the same without the download, and you get a shiny case. Can't imagine these Xbox downloadables are gonna be worth the HD space either, especially if you've still got a 20gb drive, as most of us probably do.
