I did that fatal mistake and suffer greatly...it's possibly something I will never recover from... :x

man I've heard the game was bad but I thought it couldn't be THAT bad...reality showed that it was worse than that....holy crap what a piece of shit game

I could probably go into detail on how and why but I won't...just trust me on this one...the game is not worth touching even if you're bored out of your mind...

I thought it was fun when you crashed and did a bunch of flips cool car damage too. It actuallt looks pretty detailed with 1200X1600 and everything set to high detail. Looks alot better than the Xbox version. Ill get it if its like 39.99

It's a good game for PS2. I hear the PC version has bad problems with the lights flickering though, and they did away with the impressive particle system from the console games (now its just black squares). Also, as it's primarily a driving game, it seems like it would suck on a mouse/keyboard.

I like the game, still play it every once in awhile. Definitely one of the most underrated games out there. I still laugh at the people who complain about not being able to ram through giant steel poles (even in official reviews), way too much GTA going around.

The fact that Atari employed a PR company to loiter around forums and pump up the profile of driver says it all really.

It's not even worth stealing this game.
