Dominic West, acclaimed for playing McNulty in The Wire, is starring opposite I do believe. I'm looking forward to it for those two alone, though I do quite enjoy the later Punisher comics, too.

Batman and the Punisher, in terms of content are really quite different comics as well as films though.

I'm really looking foward to this, seeing as how the new guy looks far more like the Punisher than Jane did, as well as the fact they are sticking to the comics origins for the character, rather than the previous films hotchpotch attempt.

I fell asleep in the first Punisher in the theater. It looks like they managed to be even worse than the first. Could rank up there of worst films I have seen such as the Doom movie, Jason X, etc that I saw for 5 min.

The first movie was an absolute blast. Nice OTT action and violence to be had.

This one looks like they've just upped the gore and fighting. I'll watch it anyways.

I loved the first movie (it's actually among my favorites for Action Movies, right after #1 Starship Troopers, it's #2), and I'll know doubt love this one, but wtf, they should really have the guy from the first movie.. This guy looks like a pansy. They'll never capture the environment feel of the first movie. The first one seemed 'real' this one seems more like a comic book movie.. What's with the villain, frickin Joker-lookin bitch (from the new Batman).

Also, anyone see the wrist xbow from the trailer? DEUS EX AMIRITE?

It looks more like a Robert Rodriguez film. Its a shame that Thomas Jane isn't in this one, but then I haven't read the comics so......
