Purchasing Half-Life: Source

in all honesty i dont care about what people have said it being shit or good etc but i would like to try half life on the source engine... when i tried to purchase via steam i goto register a product i already own and put in my cdkey but then it says something like a subscription for the game is already registered to this product.... what can i do ? :imu:

nope, i havnt got hl:s all it says is 'Just Released', only got hl1 normal on my pc

HL:S is not Half-Life. HL:S Is something you get when buying the gold edition of HL2.

i know but if i already have bought hl2 normal retail package with cs:s how can i get hl:s

did u buy the collectors edition if u didnt u wont have hl:s and if it was installed it would be in my games

nope i did not buy the collectors edition, i just got thge standard hl2 & cs:s retail package and in my games it has hl:s as just released

Yep, but unless you buy the Collector's Edition (well, at least if you purchase via retail), you can't actually download/play it.
