Putting an image in the background of your 2-3 layout?

I just wanted to know if it is possible to put and image in the background so i can make a scale of the map i am trying to make.. : p, i know in maya and 3dsmax, so is it posble in hammer?

i dont think its possbile, : (......

i just went threw and looked at all the menus, and clicked everything and i don't see it so i will just have to do with out, even thought its goin to take forever now..... : (

maybe make it a texture and put in on a brush?
only problem is you wont see it on the grid.
