Pyro Bag Idea - it's used to store his victims ashes!

We know Valve likes to have little stories behind their props, the red phone in portal, the deckchair next to the zombie pit in Ep2. Keeping that in mind this is an idea I had about the Pyro's controversial bag in TF2.

This one, in case you don't know what I'm talking about.

I think that the bag is used for collecting and temporarily storing the ashes of the Pyro's battlefield victims. What the Pyro does with the ashes later could range from the innocent (sending the ashes family members) to the, more likely, insidious (putting the ashes in a trophy case back home). Or maybe both (sending the ashes to family members inside a trophy).

As for the flower pattern on the bag, can you think of a more awesome place to store ashes? Oh yeah inside this cute little bag is the remains of someone I killed.


My other theory is that the Pyro is a hippie, but I like this theory better

The red phone was apparently used to call for help if GLaDOS was going out of control. And if you notice, the cable is snapped. Meaning GLaDOS went crazy and possibly killed all the humans.

And I Have no idea about whatever deckchair he is going on about...

In ep2 the part where you get the unlimited ammo crate of the SMG's grenade there is a deck chair with beer bottle's next to it. Valve says in the commentary that the idea was that somebody sat in the chair drinking beer while launching grenades onto the zombies that tried to come out of the pit.

Na, the pyro is not gay, it is simply Valve saying, 'look, you can't sew us for Sexism...We have a female character...' then turning round and quieting luling behind their back.

i dont see how people are saying that the bag belong to the pyro, if anyone i would think it would be the heavies or the soldiers, not only beacuse they are the tough guys, but also beacuse i can imagine a heavy playing with barbies from the flower bag when no one is looking or the soldier whipping out some rockets when hes out of ammo

I'm, of course, kidding, but now whenever I hear the Pyro's muffled speech or watch her play the axe, it's a LOT funnier.

lol i found the bag over the pyros suit finally (had a foggy memory of how the shelf was arranged) so anyway as i was going to say, im sure valve put the bag there jest so then people can come up with threads on the internet and make a big deal out of it (not sure if anyone here is but if you are, then you have been tricked).
