FiringSquad has a preview for the Core 2 Quad Q6600. I almost got tongue tied saying that.
4 cores for $851 is a steal if you are going to use them all (workstation or server use). But I don't see them selling a lot for the desktop dominated by single threaded programs. Will be interesting to see how the multi-threaded games coming out will do on quad core. The $530 price will be a lot better if they drop to that.
