After seeing the magazine scans, I've been a bit turned off. I hope that either Raven Software will change a lot of things or it'll have to grow on me.

Awesome. Are they going to be showing anything at E3 next month or are they saving it for QuakeCon?

I love the DOOM 3 engine. Lighting, to me, is almost the single most important aspect to rendering. Call me a graphics whore but I like eye candy.

I was able to play about 10 mins of ROE and it looked amazing.

They were going to release the Q3 source in december, the reason they didn't is because someone licensed it..so it would be kinda stupid to release the source free then.. if you get what I mean..

Who would license an engine that old?

i played quake 3 only in my mates gaff,gr8 fun,the quake 3 engine went on to do great things,medal of honor,cod etc,although it uses doom3 tech this time,hopes its better than doom anyway
