with so many other programs out there, DC++, BitTorrent, that will do little if anything to curb distribution.
 
Gilgamesh is right, this will only add more publicity to an already sad situtation.

It'll also show some of the borderline people that this behavior is not acceptable to everyone. Maybe some people will realize that not everyone is downloading the stolen version.
 
I think we all know the behavior is bad. I have no plans to search out any build of this game.

But MP3s are bad as well, but everyone DL's them.
 
gamesnet did the same too.

I'm completely against sharing it...especially the source but if u do get it, that person shouldn't suffer, as long as he keeps it to himself.

One thing that is still puzzling us a little is why Valve hasn't involved the forces of the law to investigate the hacker who spawned this whole hullabaloo. Shouldn't the FBI be involved – if the hacker is a Russian, as has been alleged all over the place?
