I found out about a new design of computing hopefully coming soon.
At the moment it's all theoretical, but opens up the possibility of many many things including
* Time travel
* Mapping the human brain into computers
* Stasis
* Teleportation
* Immense computing speed
All, of course, theoretical - and unlikely to appear too soon.

There's some links that go over the basics.
But to give you an idea of the speed of a QC,
There is an encryption code for e-mails, the best of the best, that is so good it would take 270 of todays top end computers eight times the age of the universe to crack it.
A quantum computer would manage it in four minutes.
I'm just interested what impact you guys think this kind of technology will have if and when it's released.
