so the new queens of the stone age cd came out,
very different because since Nick Oliveri left.. Been a while now, and im sure some of you guys got your hands on it.. So ramble on.

(dont talk about how josh f***ed it up by kicking Nick out.. like he says in an article "f*** off" The new qotsa has its own uniqueness which doesnt necessarily have to stick with its old style.)

Personally i think its great, Homme has prooved his talent by now adapting his voice and his band together. Goes along smoothly. :)

I've got it and really like it. Burn the Witch is a great tune.

I got the special edition (with bonus DVD) a week ago and am still trying to get used to it. I'm kinda stuck on Little Sister at the moment as it's the closest track on the album to their older stuff.

Although the new line up has created it's own unique sound it is still undeniably QOTSA.

The only let down is the DVD, which just doesn't have enough on it.

Is it worth buying then? I really liked the album (forget what its called) with Hanging Tree, and the radio-station style one

Songs for the Deaf. To my mind, their best album to date.

Yeah, it's well worth buying. Just don't go into it expecting it to be in the same style as the previous efforts.

"I just curse at the sun, so I can howl at the moon...

yyyyeeeaaaaoooouuu, yeah..."

Josh Homme's cool factor just went up ten points. :) Stoner-rific.

I checked them out once when I heard Mark Lanegan was with them, but I didn't really like what I heard. I prefer the Screaming Trees.
