I was an idiot and only just purchased HL2 through steam today, with the preload at about 50%
(HL2 release is delayed for one day in NZ, hence my late decision).
It's about 65% done now, and it should be about 70-80% done when the unlock time comes around.
Question, will I be able to play it ?? The only reason I ask is that all other singleplayer steam games can be played 'on the fly' if they have about this much downloaded, it just streams the data needed to the client.
Anyone know the answer ?
