Question about amp

hey i just bought a new amp and was wondering if its possible to hook up a CD player to it, and make the amp the output for it, while playing a guitar at the same time so i can jam with the music?

I have never dealt with guitar amps, so I don't know much about what im saying but... If the amp has two input jacks then I would assume you could do it. However if it only has one then there probably isn't any hope of doing it.

Does it have an "AUX IN" input?
I've never used it on my amp but I think that's what it's used for.
