Question about compile times

I'm currently making my own map and I was wondering how long it takes to compile a medium to large scale map. Anyone know? Thx.

It differs from each computer, depending on how much memory, the speed of the memory, and processor. Also, there are different levels of compilation. For testing perposes, I recommend changing Vis and Rad to fast, and Bsp to normal. With these settings, my good sized level takes slightly over 6 minutes to compile.

Ah, ok. That sounds about the same as mine. I haven't even come close to finishing though. :O I wonder what the wait will be like by the time its done. :rolling:

The minimal compile never seems to take very long, but I've tried compiling with everything on normal, and even with letting it go for a day, it never completed before I got fed up and stoped it.
