Question about CS:S

Is it possible to pick things up? Such as boxes or closets so you can hide behind them? Gordon picks up a barrel in one of the binks, I was just thinking how cool it would be to be able to pick up stuff in CS:S...

I don't think it could be so easily modded as CS:S already is a mod...kinda and I hardly think they let you temper around with the settings for CS:S that much.

maybe in counter-strike 2, u'll never see it in cs source.
