question about DVD players on computers

I was wondering if you bought 2 DVD players and put them in your PC, can you have one on a region 1 setting and the other on a region 2 setting?

Also, I looked on the Shaun of the Dead" website and noticed it said that the DVD was out on sept. 6th but i haven't seen it in stores....
