Most games today are taking 2 to 5 years to make, and well games in the past took less of course. But the question is, will gaming industry ever be able to make games faster, say 1 year, because well I was wondering with the unreal 3 engine out, and doom 3 engine, medal of honor: ps engine if im right, and also half-life 2 engine, and the upcomming stalker engine, will games be produce faster because im sure those engines are going to be avialible to the gaming industry. It seem that when 2000 and 2001 hit, all the games that were being produced where trying to invent there own engine, so when they came out around this time it would be nice looking. So are game going to continue to make brand new engines non stop, and take 2 to 5 years for it to finally be release or is there going to be a time spand where there going to take a break from making new engines and use the one new engines that are avialiable to us today for a while, and maybe make games faster. Is this possible??
